Today, I've visited Kad Kakao Cafe at Velaa Community mall, and tried their Mini Gateaux Set. The set includes a variety of chocolates and coffee of your choice, which I found to be a perfect combination. The chocolates are made with quality ingredients and have a rich and smooth texture that melts in your mouth. The coffee is aromatic and balanced, complementing the sweetness of the chocolates. The set comes with four different flavors of chocolates. I personally enjoyed the dark chocolate, and bon bons with single malt whiskey:) the most, but my wife preferred the creamy, mango and lime flavors. The presentation of the set is also very elegant and appealing. The staff were very friendly and attentive too.

Excellent chocolates ! If you love artisanal local chocolates it's your dream destination. There are colorful bonbons and enrobed ganaches with many flavours and beautiful gift boxes. Staff is very kind and attentive. I also got some chocolate drinks and cakes that were real nice, drinks are quite creative and pastries are not too sweet. Last but not least, there's a selection of wines by the glass selected to pair with the chocolates and pastries ! Even some chocolate cocktails made with a locally-distilled cacao spirit. Lot of suprises there, give it a try if you go to Velaa

Oct 2024: Came back again and the chocolate was great as per last time! I did spot some new flavours, such as toasted rice, which we tried and thought was nice. Salted caramel was my favourite from my previous visit and still is. The cacao drink and coffee were both great too! Just a note that they don't seem to sell cakes anymore, which is a pity. Previous review: This place looks like it'll suck out the money from your wallet once you step inside, but the prices are surprisingly reasonable and affordable. The cake was not too sweet and there's also a 50% discount if you're willing to take cakes that are 3 days old. The chocolate was also very up to standard, as the taste of the various flavours really shone through e.g. salted caramel, macademia etc. In terms of the environment, it was peaceful and quiet. Would recommend coming here for a tea break!

Cute chocolate atelier. They provide retail chocolate bars coming from regions of Thailand. The chocolate is very smooth and melts in our mouth, Unique taste and award winning options, I got a bunch for souvenirs. The dine in option also delightful, it’s light to enjoy as breakfast or afternoon break. Good meeting point for a quick chat, Knowledgeable staff too, they answered our questions and able to suggest what kind of chocolate variants to take home.

The seating space is limited. It’s more like a takeaway shop but the products are divine. If you’re looking for unique Thai souvenirs, their Thai chocolate won’t disappoint!

Wonderful cocoa cafe with reasonable prices for the high quality. All their desserts here are not too sweet and taste great. We enjoyed the Passion Fruit, Raspberry, Salted Caramel, and Hazelnut Bonbons! All tasted really good. What impressed me most was really their Cacao Pod cake. It's brilliant how they included the cacao juice jelly to balance out the intense richness from the other chocolate components. As for the drinks, I highly recommend both their hot cacao tea and 70% iced chocolate. The taste is really pure and you can taste the quality of their cacao. Service here is great as well, and you can sample their chocolate bars if you wish to buy them. I'd recommend the chrysanthemum, coconut milk, and salted tamarind flavours for the bars. Will definitely make a stop here again if I'm in Bangkok!
